Home Organizing and Moving Assistance in Nassau County and Queens

The Uncluttered Domain recently visited two familes on the North Shore of Long Island, one in Great Neck, Nassau County, and the other in Queens. The Great Neck family had recently moved and the Queens family was getting ready to move. Both had series home organizing issues. In both cases, clutter and disorganization made their lives, and their moves, more difficult.

In the case of the Great Neck family, The Uncluttered Domain provided ShelfGenie shelving, which helped the family declutter their kitchen, which was where much of the clutter was located.

In the case of the Queens family, The Uncluttered Domain was able to be more proactive. Since the family had not yet packed for their move, The Uncluttered Domain was able to work with the family to determine which items they truly needed to keep, which items might be photographed and then thrown away, and which items were simply no longer needed at all. The Queens family was able to eliminate 30% of their clutter, which made packing for the move that much easier. The Uncluttered Domain also guided the Queens family in packing, unpacking and re-organizing their belongings, including the installation of a garage organizing system, all of which led to a decluttered home and happier homeowners.
